Free-D

Patented Free-D precise camera position measurement system. This offers full 360 degree shooting capability in large studios or stages and can be used with any hand-held or mounted camera.

Truematte

This is a revolutionary keying technique eliminating colour spill associated with blue-screen. It works by reflecting blue light from a ring of LED’s surrounding the camera lens resulting in outstanding image quality.

Fightbox

Produced by Fightbox Limited for BBC Two and BBC Three, this was an interactive computer game brought to a television studio. Competitors took part in an on-line competition using their warriors, and the successful ones were invited to Studio One to take part in the TV show. The BBC's Free-D tracking system was used to bring the virtual characters to life in front of the cameras.

Bamzooki

A childrens programme made at our Elstree studios, where creatures or zooks as they are known, take part in a variety of races and obstacle courses in front of competing teams of spectators.
