In our newly refurbished cutting rooms, we’re equipped with the very latest kit and our suites contain either Final Cut Pro, Avid Adrenaline, Symphony or Avid Xpress Pro, with a choice of uncompressed or compressed resolutions; widescreen monitors are available in all suites.

Our rooms are available as 'dry-hire' or you can use our very skilled Editors who will achieve results that will really give your programme the edge.

Our 17 edit suites are built around a flexible wiring system to allow us to install either Final Cut Pro or Avid editing systems, usually with firewire storage. Also, should you require, Avid media composers are available with 'scussi' storage.

All suites are linked via an intranet network which enables flexible and efficient sharing of project information. All have widescreen monitoring and a choice of compression resolutions. Whatever your subject matter we will help you achieve the exact look and pace you want.

We have unrivalled experience in the specialist skill of editing natural history and observational documentary material, e.g. Planet Earth, Galapagos, Life in the Undergrowth, as well as high profile repeating series such as Casualty, Antiques Roadshow and daytime series Bargain Hunt and Flog it.

Our finishing rooms include Final Cut Pro, Avid Symphony and Adrenaline and come with a wide choice of digital videotape recorders. All rooms are capable of working at uncompressed SD resolutions, with Final Cut Pro also being HD capable.

In our linear edit suite, a caption generator, vision & sound mixing facilities and digital video effects are standard.

Our premier suite features Smoke, an uncompressed, SD/HD tapeless editing and finishing system. This can be utilised in many ways from conforming a 30" commercial to a full-length 60 minute HD programme, then finishing with complex effects, powerful colour correction, motion tracking, captions and plenty more. The Smoke is SD/HD capable and is connected to an 8TB (tera-byte) central storage system, so that projects can be held 'tapelessly' until playout time. The central storage is also linked to our Lustre HD/SD grading system to enable project sharing.
