Please note the shortlisting will be based entirely on your application form and the answers you have given.

  • Read the application form, job description and further information carefully.
  • Take note of the Vacancy Number of the position, which is at the top of the application form you will need this for future reference or any enquiries.
  • Make notes of the information that has been requested of you from the application form, to work on a draft. Please note that the recommended method of applying is to use the online application form – you can print the form to help you work on your draft.
  • It is advisable to make a draft of each section of the application form in a text document which you can save and then copy and paste when you are applying online.
  • When preparing your answers – remember to check for spelling and grammar. (Get someone to proof read your answers before inputting onto the application form).
  • Qualifications & Training Section: remember to include full details. Senior school – subjects and grades; college / university – the course and grade obtained or expected.
  • Don’t forget to include details of any training relevant to the application, either done at school, at college / university, in the workplace or during outside activities, which will aid your application.
  • Employment History: remember to include actual dates; the full name of the employer; nature of the business; your job title and brief description of your responsibilities; salary – per annum or per hour; whether full-time, part-time or voluntary / unpaid. Also include any work experience and placements in this section.
