BBC OB's move to mediacity:uk

BBC Outside Broadcasts has moved their Manchester office to The Pie Factory, the forerunner to the mediacity:uk site at Salford Quays. The move means BBC Outside Broadcasts can compliment the existing facilities at the complex to provide connectivity and uplinking to the sound stages and help customers make live or recorded programmes in Manchester. An established centre for media production, The Pie Factory offers a variety of sound stages from 3,000 to 6,800 sq feet.

The move also means BBC OB’s can continue to give the North West easy access to communications expertise, special camera solutions, experienced PSC crews and some of the most talented craft staff in the business.
